I have been extremely lucky numerous times and there are so many people to thank. My family and friends have provided constant support that has helped me to stay afloat in uncertain times. My teachers, mentors and colleagues have extended to me enormous patience. Together it has been extremely fun to learn, and to find beautiful problems, where you have no intuition, to not be afraid to make a mistake, to get lost together and sometimes – with a lot of luck – to be blessed to discover how surprising the mathematics is.
